I just cut two daughters waist length hair very short like a boy I will my daughter hair very short from I not care If My girls like their very short hair or not

I know this is not a popular opinion but I love my daughter in long hair. Not to say short hair looks bad all the time but our little girls are so cute in long hair and pony tails, braids etc...keep it long as much as possible, let them learn how to be girls. When they grow up, then let them decide :)

Don't fool yourself: short hair looks terrible on a girl. Don't believe a word magazines or anyone tells you, it looks bad, but no one says anything.

Lilly and Lucy, Your best bet is to visit a hair salon and spend some time looking through the hair style books. You don't have to get a haircut when you go. Just tell the hairstylist that you want a new style, but you aren't sure what you want. She can look at your hair type, talk to you about what you like, and show you some pictures. Good luck!-Susie

my mother is always bugging me to have a "cute" kind of hairstyle but all of the other kids at school have more grown up ones. i was wondering if there is a hairstyle that can be put in both cute and modern.

my hair is a sort of wild curl it is reall;y hard to tame so i usally just but is in a ponytail. i want a nice change something sporty but sheek and also fun. i dont have any ideas please halp me

Susan, You don't say how old your daughter is, and that would have some bearing on how you choose to cut it. If she is really too young to take care of it, then you and she might be happy with a cute bob. Why not check out some haircut pictures together either in magazines or on the Internet. I want to cut my daughters hair just at the middle of her ear but she thinks that is to short, but i do no that it is pretty short but she gets it tangled all the time and than i have to get all the tangles out so it is hard on me.. i also want to cut her hair pretty short because i think it looks cute and i am not into long hair at all. I really don't know what to do, but i know for a fact that i am going to cut it short because she promised me that she would stop getting tangles or i would cut her hair short(at max. bellow her ears) i hust don't know how short i should cut it.....

Sorry,kindia. As far as creating curls, if a child has some curl in her hair, then use a curling gel and scrunch, scrunch, scrunch! Otherwise, the old standard of curling irons and rollers will work, too. (That is if your little girl can stand still long enough!) I don't advocate perms for kids. As adults, we damage our hair enough! Let's don't start too young! Hope this helps!-Susie
