-- Contributed by: LisaLisa, Wow! I bet that took some getting used to for you and your daughter! You and she should both have an easier time taking care of her hair now that it is so short. How about it readers? Do you love long or short hair?-Susie

There, you can find more information plus read customer reviews! Also, there's a coupon out on the web where the First Visit Cut is just $9.95! So call today for an appointment

-- Contributed by: Mike WinnickSharkey's Cuts For Kids is a kids salon that is excellent and I didn't see it in your list. The one in San Antonio, Texas just opened and it is a child's paradise. My 2 year old son hates getting his haircut and really needed one so I decided to give Sharkey's a shot. He walked in saw the yellow H2 Hummer and the TV and ran to it. The stylist was wonderful and showed him the clippers and how it would 'tickle' a little bit. They had his favorite show "Curious George" and he was in a trance. They not only have the H2, but a Barbie Jeep and a Blue Angels Jet. The bigger kids get to play video games on big flat screen TVs. They even had a Nintendo Wii that my son tried to play "Cars" racing on. The back room is a little girls dream with makeup, mini-manis, up-dos and dress-up clothes galour. Needless to say, I was very impressed.

-- Contributed by: Susie1506I am a professional stylist, and have been cutting hair now for 6 years. My professional oppinion is to take him some place where you and your son feel most comfortable. Since he is two, give him an insentive; candy, favorite toy, new toy prospect, going to see grandma... anything that works! Generally kids sit still enough to get their hair cut with clippers. If you decide to do it, or if you have a salon do it, make sure you let him touch the clippers while their on so that he knows they will not hurt him! that is crucial! The first couple times are rough, but you'll get through it! hang in there (I am also a mom too!)
-- Contributed by: Kitt RichardsonStephanie, The clippers may be a bit noisy and scary for a two year old. Try using scissors instead of clippers and take your time. I remember cutting my 14 year old son's hair when he was two, and he screamed and screamed. Fortunately, he got more accustomed to the idea. When I cut my 3 year old's hair now, I usually give him something to play with, place him in his high chair, and start cutting. It might help if you put on a favorite video for your little guy to watch, too. --Susie
-- Contributed by: Susie1506I have a two year old boy who was born with a head full of hair. He had to get his first hair cut by the time he was 5 months old. I refuse to let my mother cut his hair anymore, because the results last time were terrible. I took him to a salon, but it was like a waste of money because he wouldn't sit still and she could only cut mainly in the back. With it being summer time, I'd like to shorten it up a bit without shaving it. I've been threatened. Can I use clippers, but still have his hair somewhat long so it still hangs over his forehead, but not look crazy?
