Brandi, I do understand how you feel. Life is full of times when we let our children go. My youngest will start kindergarten next year, and my oldest just moved hundreds of miles away!-Susie

I hate how I won't be there to help her through the bad things and encourage her on the good. This is going to be very hard for me.
-- Contributed by: brandiDear Mommy, I've been through this three times already, but my little guy will go to kindergarten next year, and I'm sure I'll be fighting those tears!-Susie
-- Contributed by: Susie1506Try not to cry!!! Good advice. Does getting tears in your eyes actually count as crying??? Crocodile tears in my sons eyes with the plea to not leave was just about more than I could stand. See last year I was able to stay at Preschool (at the same school) until my son was able to seperate easily. Sure I volunteered to help with the class which also helped my son feel more confident. Win Win situation. This year I cannot even take him to the classroom-big change for the shy little guy. I know he'll be alright--the tears just are unbearable to me.
