Renata, I can see how you might think that both schools could offer your daughter distinct advantages, but I think that sending her back and forth between two schools would be a bit much, especially for a two year old. Teachers have their own preferences, schedules, routines, etc., and this might create overstimulation for your child. Of course, the decision is ultimately up to you, but as a parent and an educator, I would not do this with my child.-Susie

In fact , I would like your point of view ,please, related to my 2 years and a half daughter pre school choice. She is enrolled in the Reggio Emilia approach childcare (2 mornings per week)and 2 different mornings at Montessori. She has already attended the Reggio Emilia last week for the first time. She enjoyed it.I thought it is very interesting, the opportunities that children has to learn through exploration, the environment, the teachers participation...But I think that miss fine motors skill , there are many gross mot's , because of this I am thinking about puting her at Montessri as well only because of those rich educational materials that are available there , which can be very useful on specific motor skills, specially fine ones , In fact , I think that one can complement the other.

My daughter can adapt very well in many different situations , so I think that she will be OK and enjoy both.(she has already visited Montessori as well , and enjoyed it, too).

Do you think that this procedure would be rich for my child , it could bring benefits or could prejudice her ? And in which ways could benefit or prejudice ?

I am looking forward to your answer. Thank you !

Rida, That is a good question, and often the difference between the two terms really depends upon the preschool or pre k program you choose. Some institutions prefer one term over the other when they are really the same. Instead of focusing on the name, take a look at a daily schedule and curriculum for both programs. This will help you make your decision.-Susie
