Hot Toys of 2007
From LoveToKnow Kids
Christmas is almost here, and we've got a great list of hot toys of 2007. Let us help you with your Christmas shopping and put a smile on your kids' faces!
What's Hot?
What's hot on your child's toy list? If your child's a preschooler, then the list probably includes just about everything he or she sees on the TV, in magazines, and in the stores. If your child is a bit older, however, he may have already made out a specific list for Santa (and you) to fill. Sometimes, however, what your child might think as the must-have item and your own wishes for your child's Christmas differ. This year, Christmas shopping creates a special dilemma—recalled toys. Just because a toy has been recalled from the shelf doesn't mean it won't be there, especially if you are shopping at a discount or return store. While the toys we'll list as the hot toys of 2007 may not be on the recalled list yet, there's no guarantee that next week won't find them added to the long list. When in doubt, always check the U.S. Consumer and Product Safety Commission's recall list.
Hot Toys of 2007
Before you empty your bank account to pay for the following list of hot toys of 2007, consider the following:
- Does the toy suit your child's personality? No matter how hot the toy might seem, if it's something that simply doesn't pique your child's interest, it probably won't be played with. Think about your child's likes and dislikes before you begin shopping.
- Is it just a fad? Sometimes the hottest toys are those that can't be found. Remember the Furby and Tickle Me Elmo crazes? People spent exorbitant amounts of money to procure these toys in time for Christmas. What happened? Well, after Christmas there suddenly was a surplus of these toys, bringing prices back down to a reasonable amount and vanquishing the enigma that the toys seem to harbor when they weren't in your child's closet.
- Does it fit into your budget? Sure, your child would love that new, cherry-red moped or a Playstation3, but is it practical on your budget? Are you sacrificing to buy these items? Don't let Christmas blind you to the reality of your finances!
Now, with all of that being said, the following items are viewed as the hot toys of 2007. Happy shopping!

- Made for Me-Electronics certainly hasn't left out preschoolers, and the Made for Me series of toys allows parents to upload their own music from the Internet as well.
