- National Gallery of Art-This interactive Website lets kids create imaginary landscapes, play games, discover hidden images, create collages, and create original art. If you are looking for online fun and lots of art for kids, this is a great place to begin!
- Princeton Online-This site offers kids, parents, and teachers an opportunity to participate in lots of fun activities, such as discovering wildlife art, becoming an art detective, and exploring paintings. There is also a section on art appreciation with lots of games and projects to hold kids' interest.
- Kinder Art-Kinder Art offers art lessons in architecture, art history, drama, drawing, folk art, painting, sculpture, and more. Preschoolers will enjoy this site, as well as older kids.
- Art Kids Rule-Another great site to enjoy art for kids is Art Kids Rule. At this site, kids can paint online or learn about topics, such as photography, spirograph, and even magic.
- Arts and Kids-This site offers art contests, puzzles, online coloring books, and a gallery of pictures by other kids.

Enjoying Art for Kids
Finally, if you don't think you are very art savvy, don't worry. There are lots of ways to delve into the world of art, and sharing art for kids is a great way to spend quality family time.
- Local Art Shows-Keep a lookout for local art shows and art fairs in your area. Your local Chamber of Commerce should have a listing.
- State and County Fairs-A great way to encourage your kids to become interested in art is to enter their artwork in the art shows of your state and county fairs. Not sure what to enter? Visit exhibit halls at a local fair, and check out the other entries. You'll find lots of displays in a variety of mediums, including photography, oil paintings, charcoal drawings, and more.
- Art Galleries-There may be art galleries in your town that you're not even aware of! Check for local listings in the yellow pages of your phone book.
- High School and University Galleries-The art departments of your high school and/or college or university galleries often have art displays showcasing the works of students.
- Art Lessons-Finally, you and your kids could take art lessons together. Call your local community center to see if any lessons are offered there. Local artists may also offer lessons as well.
