My daughter has taken Zyrtec off and on since she was a baby. My son has tried a variety of allergy medications and has done best with D-Allergy. Some doctors we have dealt with have never even heard of this medication, but it’s the only one so far that has helped him significantly. What allergy medications do your kids take? |

We live in the Ohio River Valley, which is notorious for allergies. I really don’t want to start my girls on medicine until they have to be on it. We’ve been lucky that their allergies are mild. We do take a dose of local honey, which seems to help a lot. It has to be local honey though. You can get it from your local health food store or farmer’s market. |

Lori, I have never heard about using honey for allergies. Why does it have to be local? Does local honey have something in it that helps with allergies specific to the location? |
